Neurophine: Comprehensive Carpal Tunnel Management

It has been established in study that certain nutrient deficiencies can promote the onset of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.  Neurophine ends deficiency and promotes wrist health by providing your body with condition-specific vitamins, minerals, and botanicals that support anti-inflammatory action.

We’ve all experienced our leg or foot going numb.  Many of us jump out of our seats and attempt to “walk off” the numbness and tingling sensation, thinking that movement will somehow make the discomfort go away.  This probably has to do with thinking that our lower limbs are not getting enough blood.  But is this true?  Not exactly - poor circulation can cause some abnormal sensations of the extremities, but it’s likely that the numbness you’ve experienced is a direct result of nerve compression rather than poor circulation.

These symptoms also occur in people who suffer from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS).  However, unlike leg numbness which is most often caused by weight, Carpal Tunnel is a result of the direct pressure placed upon the medial nerve of the hand from swollen tendons and tissues that surround it.  Individuals who engage in activities that require the repetitive movements of the wrist are at greatest risk for developing this condition.

However, there are many other contributing factors that lead to one having carpal tunnel syndrome.  It seems that no one is immune.  Scientists speculate that as many as 15 factors could be at play, including:

  • individual anatomy
  • metabolic factors
  • direct trauma
  • nutritional deficiencies

It has long been known that that the vitamins contained in Neurophine are often deficient in persons suffering from CTS.  As well, with the additional inclusion of carpal-tunnel supporting minerals and botanicals, you can rest assure that your nutritional needs for managing this condition are not only met, but surpassed.

Clinical study of the ingredients contained in Neurophine support its ability to promote circulation, reduce inflammation, and improve joint and nervous system health.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome:

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is classified as an entrapment neuropathy, or the compression/trauma of a peripheral nerve.  CTS occurs when the median nerve becomes pressed or squeezed at the wrist. The median nerve, which runs from the forearm to the hand, controls sensations to the palm side of the thumb and fingers.  It is also important for sending impulses to the small muscles of the hand that allow fingers (except the pinky finger) to move.

The carpal tunnel is a narrow passageway of ligament and bones located at the base of the hand (
see photo above).  Irritated tendons or other inflamed tissues narrow the tunnel and causes the median nerve to be compressed, as it is housed inside of the carpal tunnel itself. The result can be pain, weakness, or numbness in the hand and wrist, radiating up the arm into the shoulder.  Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is the most common entrapment neuropathy.

Signs and Symptoms:

The first symptom most people experience and notice is numbness and/or tingling of the hand.  Many people attribute this symptom to other issues not related to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.  However, there are many other signs associated with this condition and if you suffer from a combination of any of the symptoms listed below, there is a chance that you suffer from either carpal tunnel strain, or CTS.  Key signs and symptoms include:

  • Sleep interruption (numbness and pain in hands)
  • Pain in hand and wrist
  • Weakness in hand and wrist
  • Pain radiating up the forearm
  • Poor circulation in hands (cold hands)
  • Hand(s) falling asleep
  • Cold hands
  • Warm sensation in forearms
  • Loss of hand grip strength
  • Loss of feeling in fingers/thumb
  • Dropping objects, clumsiness
  • Loss of fine motor skills in hands
  • Aching shoulders and neck

Causes:

The most common cause of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome remains repetitive stress or over activity of the hand and wrist.  Overuse results in swelling of the wrist, particularly within the tendons.  This inflammation results in a pinched nerve and symptoms consistent with CTS.

As mentioned, other factors do contribute to condition onset as well.  These include a person’s anatomical configuration, wrist use patterns, edema from forceful trauma, as well as metabolic influences (e.g. water retention during pregnancy or significant hormonal changes like those seen during menopause). Lastly, specific lifestyle factors may increase one’s risk for condition onset.  This includes persons who use caffeine, tobacco, or alcohol regularly.

Who’s at risk?

  • Women are more likely then men to develop CTS

  • The number of cases is greatest in the 40 - 60 year age group

  • CTS is associated with many disease conditions (See FAQs)

  • A 2001 study conducted by the Mayo Clinic reported that assemblers and small tool workers were three times more likely to develop Carpal Tunnel than data entry personnel.  Other high risk occupations/activities are listed in the table below:

Sorting mail / Courier Services

Typing / Computer work

Meat cutting

Homemaking / Needlepoint

Tool handling

Grocery checking

Driving vehicles

Golfers

Machinist / Mechanics

Carpenters

Chefs

Musicians, Pianist, Violinist

Construction work

Massage Therapists

Tennis players

Landscaping

Designed to restore the normal function of the hand and wrist by minimizing the pain, numbness, and tingling associated with CTS, Neurophine is
Your complete and non-invasive Carpal Tunnel relief formula.

Conventional treatments for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome employ the use of prescription and over-the-counter medications to control pain and inflammation.  However, these drugs are not without complications and, with the exception of surgery, the risks often outweigh the potential benefit.  The physical side effects from non steroidal anti-inflammatories like acetaminophen and ibuprofen have long been established.

As well, corticosteroids typically require injections into the site of inflammation.  And, despite its relatively high success rate, surgery that is performed after all prior options have been exhausted (i.e. medicines and splinting), these procedures are extremely invasive and debilitating; often requiring a substantial recuperation period.

Neurophine changes the intimidating treatment for all Carpal Tunnel Sufferers.  Not only is this unique formula non-invasive, it’s effective, all natural, and carries minimal risk of side effect.  It can be utilized daily, in the comfort of you home, for ongoing symptomatic relief of your CTS.  Progressive Health employs the use of vitamins, minerals, and clinically evaluated herbs to provide you the symptom relief you only thought was possible through popular medicinals.

What makes Neurophine so effective?

  • With the inclusion of vitamins B6 and C, deficiencies known to aggravate this condition are offset and these specific deficiencies are corrected.
  • The minerals Potassium, Magnesium, Zinc, Copper, Chromium, Copper, and Manganese provide inflammatory relief, enhance healing, and promote neurological health.
  • Boswellia Serrata, Turmeric, Cayenne Pepper, Methylsulfonyl Methane Chondrotin Sulfate, Hylaronic Acid, BioCell Collagen Type II - all of these ingredients provide a specific function; including improvements in circulation, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, reducing the side effects associated with NSAIDs, and promoting and maintaining wrist bone integrity.
